Ruesch Motor Company

Ruesch Motor Company

Ruesch Motors (Ruesch Motor Company) was an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) company that built off-road performance vehicles that were usually used in circles of racing and regular UTV (Utility Task Vehicle) exhibits.

The RUESCH brand joined the market for 4 years before losing its way to the global financial crisis that shook America from 2007 to 2009.

History

In 2006, Ruesch Motor Company was founded by James Ruesch, a young driver of NASCAR in the early 90s.

His motor company was inspired by the late Hans Ruesch, a race car legend in the 1930s who won the 1936 British Grand Prix.

Ruesch Motor Company made a wide network of dealers throughout the United States of America, providing high-end performance vehicles that served as racing and exhibition toys.

Unfortunately, its brand officially went out of the market in 2010 after suffering the effects of The Great Recession, which was triggered by the global financial crisis that shook America from 2007 to 2009.

Side-by-side (UTV)

Ruesch Motors presented a range of UTVs that were designed for all terrain, such as dirt, rocks, beach, sand, and snow.

Same with Polaris, vehicles under RUESCH were assembled with Turbo Weber parts, a popular motor and engine supplier from Germany.

One accomplishment made by the company was when it became the first to partner with FOX, an expert in design and development of high performance shock absorbers and racing suspension products worldwide.

Competition

RUESCH was a strict competitor of long-standing UTV brands like Polaris, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda, and Arctic Cat.

Although Ruesch Motors offered a better pricing compared to other manufacturers, its market advantage still never became a reason for the company to stay that long in the market.
