Rubi Rose (born October 2, 1998) is a model and rapper. ^[6]

She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on October 2nd 1998 and spent her childhood in Geneva, Switzerland, where her mom’s side of the family is from. She moved to Atlanta in her teens. She graduated from high school in 2015. She is of Eritrean and Japanese descent and speaks some French. Her mother is a dentist .

Rubi Rose started as a model and video girl.

Her most famous appearance was in the music video for Migos' "Bad & Boujee." ^[1] She has also been in Raury's "Cigarette Song” music video. She appeared in other videos and gained more followers on social media.

She transitioned from modeling and appearing in videos to making her own music.

She dated rapper Playboi Carti and while dating him, she had a verse on his 2018 song "On Top." He was later arrested at Los Angeles International Airport following a physical altercation with Rubi Rose. They have since broken up.

She released her debut single “Trickin’.”

She gained popularity from this track, but her second single “Big Mouth” did better.

She performed for the first time during South by Southwest at Buffalo Billiards in 2019. She’s since collaborated with Renni Rucci and Cuban Doll on “A.G.F.” and has an unreleased music video with Young Thug.
