Career
Roy Taylor in Miami Beach
Taylor has been involved in several entrepreneur ventures, starting from his time in college, until now.
He has built, managed, and scaled multiple businesses to 6-figures, and consulted multi-million dollar businesses and individuals.
His first venture was Capital California Records, a start-up record label where he produced for and signed multiple promising music acts.
The company eventually dissolved due to Roy’s lack of connections to the professional music industry.
He focused his efforts for the rest of his college time on a hemp-wick company called Stoneez Lighters.
[7] The company had an amazing run, and then due to over-demand and being unable to manufacture enough units, Roy decided it was time to try a different approach to entrepreneurism- digital marketing.
Shortly after graduating, Roy stumbled upon automated Instagram marketing.
He noticed all of his peers were looking for growth on social media, where there was seemingly none.
He built InstaFame, an automated platform that created organic engagements for his clients.
The business grew exponentially, ultimately amassing 10,000 customers over its lifetime and achieving close to $500,000 in sales.
After Instagram changed their API settings, InstaFame was forced to close.
After investing in cryptocurrency in 2017, Roy diversified his business portfolio by investing into companies based around his interests.
[7] Now he is a co-owner of Ceeze, a custom shoe company, and has made customized shoes and bags for celebrities such as LeBron James, Teka$hi69 6ix9ine, Rich The Kid, and been featured on HYPEBEAST, Complex, NiceKicks, & High Snobiety. [7]
His other ventures currently include his downtown Los Angeles clothing print shop TektonLand, a legal cannabis vape company called Magic Pipe, and DRIV3, a Los-Angeles based Exotic Car rental business.
Since relocating to Miami, Florida in 2019, Roy transitioned his focus to expanding his design & development firm M Labs (short for Miami Labs).
His projects include developing new technologies in the luxury condominium industry, exotic car rental industry, high-end art industry, credit repair industry, and more.
While initially skeptical of Cryptocurrency and its technologies, Roy embraced the coming wave and capitalized on the marketing needs the new community lacked on.
During 2018 he closed 8-figures worth of Cryptocurrency PR, which allowed him to reinvest his earnings back into coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, NEO, Ripple, and Verge. [12] Roy also spent time developing a cryptocurrency academy with courses, a built in exchange, constantly updating coin markets, and arbitrage tool. He plans to release this academy when the market starts to rise again. His current standing on cryptocurrency is extremely bullish, due to the utility, current adoptability rates, and strong community driving its expansion. [10]
