Roy is originally from Appleton, Wisconsin. ^[2]In middle school, Roy would upload music videos of himself skateboarding to YouTube. ^[14]Roy has wanted to be a performer all of his life and always loved the spotlight. ^[14]

Roy started making music when he was 10-years-old and would write rhymes in his notebook during class.
