Ross Elliott was an American resident of Lowell, Massachusetts. ^[1]

On May 11, 2017, at around 7:30 a.m. local time, Ross entered a common area of an apartment building at 166 Stevens St. in Lowell, Massachusetts, and approached Nicole Gamache-White, with whom he had been in a domestic relationship. ^[1]

Elliott assaulted her and shot her.

She later died later at an area hospital.

Elliott was sentenced to at least 9 1/2 years in state prison for a 2005 incident at a home at 1467 Gorham St., in which Elliott sliced the throat of his then-girlfriend.

In July 2006, Elliott pleaded guilty to charges of armed assault to murder, kidnapping, assault to murder, and trafficking in heroin. He was sentenced to 9 1/2 to 10 years in state prison, followed by 10 years probation. ^[1]

On May 12, 2017, Elliott was found dead inside of a Honda Accord trunk in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. The car's owner called police at about 1:30 p.m. local time after seeing what appeared to be a hand sticking out of the trunk after driving the car and parking it at a doctor's office.
