Ronald Brownstein

Ronald Brownstein is a journalist, historian, and political commentator.

Career

Ronald serves as the political director of Atlantic Media Company where he coordinates political coverage and contributes to the National Journal, Quartz, and The Atlantic. He is additionally a senior political and election analyst for CNN.

Ronald was previously a columnist and political correspondent for the Los Angeles Times and a correspondent for National Journal. He is a senior political analyst for CNN and was an ABC News electoral analyst throughout the 2012 election. [1]

Accolades

The Economist said of Brownstein that he's “one of America’s best political journalists,” and the Washington Post called him “one of the gold-plated names of political journalism who can still shape big-pictures conventional wisdom.”

Ronald is the author of six books, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the 1996 and 2004 presidential campaigns, and is the recipient of 7 journalism awards.
