Kidnapping
On May 17, 2017 The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office issued an AMBER Alert for Melissa Molina who was last spotted getting into a car with Roger Lanford. [2]
Officials said Melissa Molina got into a white 2004 Nissan Maxima in the Winder, Georgia area with a man who they believe is named Roger Lanford. Barrow sheriff’s Office officials said Lanford is 33, but the National Center for Missing And Exploited Children listed his age as 34. [2]
The sheriff’s office said in a post on its Facebook page that the Maxima took off at a high rate of speed after Molina got into the vehicle.
The vehicle was reportedly being driven recklessly and passing other vehicles as well.
Law enforcement officials said the Maxima was last seen heading toward Ga.
Highway 124 on Dee Kennedy Road.
The Maxima had a Georgia license plate, No.
PBD6016, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited children.
The center said anyone who has information about the pair’s whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 770-307-3080.
Descriptions
The center described Molina as 5 feet and 6 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, and she was last seen wearing black pants and an orange sweater.
The center only described Lanford as a white man weighing 144 pounds and standing 6 feet and 3 inches tall.
