Roger Killam was the father of two autistic twin daughters.
In late June, Killam rented a hotel room for himself and his girlfriend, Shannen Ouickly, but left his two daughters in his RV as punishment for looking through Ouickly's things.
He then stayed with his girlfriend and dog at the Pioneer Casino while leaving the two girls in the RV with no air conditioning or running water and only a five-gallon bucket for a toilet.
Tammara Killam, one of the girls, later died from being locked in the 108 degree Fahrenheit trailer.
Roger Killam is being held on no bail with one charge of neglect resulting in death and one charge of neglect resulting in bodily harm.
