Rocket Da Goon is a Jamaican-American rapper based in Los Angeles, California. He has collaborated with Trippie Redd, UnoTheActivist, Lil Wop, Famous Dex, and Maxo Kream. ^[1] Rocket is signed to Boss Gang Records.

Rocket was born and Jamaica but moved to Los Angeles when he was 10. He went to several different schools, eventually making his way to Inglewood High School. Rocket described himself as the "pill man" and spent his time skipping school. He started smoking weed when he was 15 and would later experiment with other drugs such as ecstasy and lean. He has stated he does not consume drugs the same way as he did in his younger years.

One of Rocket's very good friend's growing up was Tyler The Creator and would chill with him and Odd Future at Hawthorne Skate Park (better known as The Dirty). Rocket was also around YG when he was coming up and went to several different house parties with him. At the time, Rocket was not focused on music and cared more about skateboarding and being involved in street activities. Two people he credits for helping him in his career are Trippie Redd and Lil Wop, both of whom Rocket considers to be close associates and collaborators.

Rocket didn't start taking music seriously until he was 19 turning 20.

His first project, #IONTRUSTASOUL was released in 2015 and would release Immigrant EP in 2016.
