Education
Robert Samuels (Journalist) graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor's degree in journalism. While in college, he was Editor-in-chief of the Daily Northwestern.
Career
Prior to joining The Washington Post in October 2006, he was a reporter the Miami Herald. At the Miami Herald, he covered politics, poverty, murder, and mayhem.
Samuels joined The Post in 2011 after spending nearly five years working at the Miami Herald.
At the Herald, he covered politics, poverty, murder and mayhem.
He occasionally writes essays on race for The Washington Post.
