Robert Hulseman (1932 - 2016) was CEO of the Solo Cup Company, which was founded by his father Leo Hulseman.
Solo Cup Career
Hulseman began working at his father's business at the age of 18.
He eventually became President and CEO and retired after 60 years in 2015.
Before Hulseman's inventions, the Solo Cup Company was known for making cone-shaped paper cups.
Robert's father had been in this business since the 1940s.
Hulseman was credited for inventing the Red Solo Cup in the 1970s.
Hulseman also invented the Traveller Lid.
