Rion Paige is an American Country singer based in Nashville, Tennessee. She is originally from Jacksonville, Florida.
Early Life and The X Factor
Rion was born Rion Paige Thompson and grew up in Florida. She is afflicted with Arthrogryposis multiplex congenita, a rare condition that leaves her wrists permanently bent at a 90 degree angle. When she was 13, she auditioned for the 3rd season of The X Factor in 2013 in Charleston, South Carolina. Rion made passed the audition and made it to later rounds and eventually be mentored by Demi Lovato. She ended up finishing on 5th place.
Music Career
After her time on The X Factor, Rion went on to release her self-titled EP.
Rion Paige in 2015. She would later release her singles "Rise" (2016) and "Freight Train" (2017). In addition, Rion participates and many philanthropic events and fundraisers to raise awareness for arthrogryposis multiplex congenita.
