Rikke Bukh is a Danish Law student studying in the United States who went viral in the news after she was stuck underneath a subway train in Brooklyn. ^{[1] [undefined]}

Bukh was born and raised in Denmark for most of her life. She had most of her upbringing in the city of Copenhagen. ^[1]

She attended the University of Florida and is currently a student at Cardozo School of Law in New York. ^[1]

In the morning of Thursday, January 11th, 2017, while inside of the Bedford Avenue station in Brooklyn Bukh stood by waiting for the L Train to arrive when she started feeling dizzy.

^[undefined] As the train pulls in, she looses consciousness and falls into the train tracks.

A distraught train operator yelled “Oh, my God!

Oh, my God!

Did I hit her?”^[undefined]

The train had narrowly missed her as she fell and landed perfectly in between the tracks.

A transit worker at the station then comforted Bukh by reaching down and holding her hand.

Firefighters were able to pull Bukh out through the gap between the train and the platform.

She was down there for a total of 20 minutes.

Bukh was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in serious condition, and a source said she is only suffering from back pain.
