Richard Nhika

Richard Nhika (1979 - January 24, 2017) was a Gospel singer and Pastor based in Harare, Zimbabwe. He committed suicide while streaming on Facebook Live in late January 2017.

Career

Richard graduated from Living Waters Theological Seminary Tynwald Campus in 2014.

He was also a popular Gospel Musician who had a few albums recorded.

Richard drinking the poisonous substance

On January 24, 2017, Richard consuming a poisonous substance believed to be cotton pesticide while streaming on Facebook Live in act of suicide. He was taken to Parirenyatwa Hospital where he died.

During the two minute video that went viral on social media, he blames a misunderstanding with his girlfriend only identified as Nomatter for his act of suicide.
