Richard Craib

Richard Craib is the Founder of Numerai. [1] He is based in San Francisco.

Education

Craib attended Cornell University where he made the Dean's list. He took classes also at UC Berkeley and the University of Cape Town. Craib would graduate from Cornell in 2012 with a BA in Mathematics.

Career

In October 2015, Craib founded Numerai, a global artificial intelligence tournament to solve the stock market. Data scientists using encrypted data sets create machine-learning models to predict stock market moves. He is backed by Norman Packard, Peter Diamandis and Howard Morgan. In 2017, he was selected to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the Finance category.
