Rhamar Perkins is a 16-year-old resident of the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn, NYC.
In June 2016, Rhamar was arrested for jumping a subway turnstile at the Rockaway Ave. station in Brownsville.
Rhamar had been previously arrested for jumping the subway turnstile as well as robbery.
While being processed at the police station, Rhamar was able to slip out the backdoor and escape.
Police sent a helicopter to look for him, which many people in the city thought was ridiculous considering the crime.
Rhamar turned himself in 4 hours later at the East New York police station.
