On the evening of October 21st, Davis texted a friend that she was not feeling well; she has had past struggles with depression.

That person then alerted the police who arrived at her house at around 6:30 p.m.

When they arrived, two of her young children were present.

What happened next is unclear, but reports indicate that Davis was armed with a handgun and the officers opened fire on Davis, leading to her death at the scene.

She was 5 months pregnant at the time of her death.
