Reggina Jefferies, (1999 - 2016) was a dancer and a senior in high school from Oakland, California. She was expected to graduate from high school in 2017.
Death
One June 14, 2016 she gained national attention due to the tragic story surrounding her death.
Sadly, after performing a dance at a funeral for her cousin and her friend [8] she was caught in the crossfire resulting from a dice game and died shortly thereafter from gunshot wounds at Highland Hospital.
She was a victim of the Oakland Shooting (June 14th, 2016). Three other teens suffered "gunshot wounds" and no arrests have been made. [1]
