[6]He is an Academic Editor for the Journal of Neurology Neurosurgery and Psychiatry (USA) and advisory board member of various movement disorder journals, a book editor with three titles to his name, and chapter author in ISBN books.

He has received numerous research and international publication awards from UST.

His research interest spans dystonia and parkinsonism, neuromuscular disorders, pain, botulinum toxin science and therapy. [2]

Early life

Dr. Rosales was born on September 27, 1957, in Manila, the Philippines in the family of Alfredo Roberts and Grace Lotilla Rosales.

Career

Raymond Lotilla Rosales, MD, Ph.D.,

FPNA, FPAA has published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals and participated as a site principal investigator in a number of international, multicentre trials. [2] He is the former president of the Philippine Neurological Association, current president of the MDSP, and Philippine Society of Neuro-Rehabilitation (as founder). Also,

he is the current vice-president of the Asian and Oceanian Myology Center Secretary, International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (Asian and Oceanian Section). [9]

Dr. Raymond Rosales is currently a Full Professor of the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. At

the Metropolitan Medical Center, he is the pioneering and incumbent head of the CNS (Center for Neurodiagnostic). [8]

Since 1988, he has been conducting his studies on Neuromuscular and Movement Disorders in UST.

Until today, his work has covered such serious disorders like Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders, muscle cramps, weakness, wasting pain and fatigue, numbness, neuropathic pains, loss of balance and coordination, somnipathy, memory disorder, epilepsy, and stroke.
