Rashi Vats a native of Houston, is an Asian American Journalist and reporter. She joined the Fox 26 News team in August 2013. Rashi comes to FOX from KBTX-TV, the Cbs affiliate in Bryan/College Station, where she served as the weekend anchor and reporter for two years. She is currently a reporter for Texas-based CBS KXII 12.[1]
Early Life
Born in 1986 in Houston, Texas, the United States, Rashi Vats celebrates her birthday on 5th January. She was born in an Indian family where her parents raised her along with her sister
She pursued her education from the Schieffer School of Journalism at Texas Christian University and garnered the degree of Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast journalism.
Career
Rashi Vats started her career after her graduation. She started her career as an intern at the CBS London Bureau in the spring of 2007.
In the same year, she was as chosen as an International Radio and Television Society (IRTS) Summer Fellow as she moved to New York City.
Later, she interned for CBS Evening News. Starting as an intern, she took her career to the height of success and served for several channels, including KBTX in Bryan/College Station, KZTV in Corpus Christi, and KXII in Sherman. Also, she worked as a reporter at Fox 26 channel covering several national and local stories.
Now, she serves as a reporter and an anchor at CBS KXII 12 based in Sherman, Denison, Texas area.[2]

She is happily married to her husband, Daniel Gotera, who serves as a reporter at KHOU-TV Houston. Also, he is a five-time Emmy Award winner in the media industry.
The lovely duo shared their wedding vows on 18th October 2013 in Brian, Texas where they rejoiced the marriage weekend with their family and friends.
Daniel disclosed of his nuptial knot with Rashi through a tweet where he portrayed a picture of himself with his bride.[4]

Rashi was born on the 5th of January 1986 (34 years old).
After four years of their marital tie, Rashi and Daniel welcomed their son, Rian, on 12th February 2017. Besides that, the information about the romantic involvement of a beautiful couple of media personalities remains behind the bushes. As of now, the couple savors the married life of five years and maintains a peaceful and kind family life along with their baby son, Rian. Recently, in April 2020, Vats gave birth to her second child, a girl.[3]
