Randall Lane

Randall Lane is a a business journalist, Entrepreneur, and business executive. He is currently the Chief Content Officer for Forbes Magazine. [5]

Career

Lane began his career at Forbes in 1991. He was a reporter, a staff writer (five cover stories), associate editor and Washington bureau chief.

Subsequently, he co-founded P.O.V., which would eventually be recognized as Adweek's Startup of the Year.

He then launched Doubledown Media.

As the CEO, he founded and relaunched six magazines, including Trader Monthly, Dealmaker, Private Air. [2]

He was also the Editor-at-Large at Newsweek and The Daily Beast. [3]

Personal Life

As a fattening hobby, he have reviewed restaurants for various magazines since college (and was a National Magazine Award finalist for his wine writing).
