Raja began his illustrious career as a Foreign Exchange Trader at Bank of America. From 1992 to 1994 he was the North American Manager of Thomson Reuters. From 1995 to 1999 Raja was the COO of PFN, a company that was eventually sold to Cisco, Inc. He went on to become the co-founder and CEO of ChooseEnergy.com, another company that was sold under his watch. Raja then began a two year stint as Principal Formation Advisers, LLC. His next gig was VP of Citibank from 2005 to 2008. After that he joined Silicon Valley Bank as the FX Global Strategy Manager where he managed global electronic trading initiatives from 2008 to 2010. Raja then spent a year as a Senior Consultant for M Squared Consulting. He jumped ship to work as the FX Program Manager at Wells Fargo for the next year. He then co-founded and became an advisor to Balboa Maple Advisors/eFXPath from 2012 to 2015. Later he became the managing director at R3CEV. Shortly after that venture ended Ramachandran became the founder of ripe.io.
