Rachel Wolfson

Rachel Wolfson is an entrepreneur, technology journalist, and blockchain enthusiast. She is currently a staff writer for Bitcoin and a contributing writer forForbes.[1] She is also one of the co-hosts on the Bad Crypto Podcast.

Her writing background centralizes on technology. She has written about machine learning, big data analysis, and new innovations in the space. She currently focuses on blockchain technology and cryptocurrency breaking news (excluding ICOs).

She is currently based in San Francisco.

Early Life & Education

Wolfson attended the University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English & Government. Subsequently, she earned her Master's degree in Security & Diplomacy from Tel Aviv University.

When she was an undergraduate student at UT Austin, she actively participated in groups that positively represented Israel in Texas. She was also a freelance writer for their newspaper, The Daily Texan.

Career

Rachel Wolfson has a content marketing background. She was a Content Marketing Manager for SQream Technologies in Tel Aviv. After moving to San Francisco in 2014, she worked as a Content Marketing Manager for Moogsoft, a company that helps IT professionals work faster using artificial intelligence.

She appeared on the Bad Crypto Podcast on March 28, 2018 and April 11, 2018; the latter episode introduced Wolfson and Sarah Austin as "The Bad Crypto Chicks."

From 2016 to 2017, she served as a Brand Ambassador to Dataconomy, a portal for news, events, and expert opinions for all things related to Big Data. She wrote for Dataconomy Media, particularly about women in technology and tech startups.

In addition, Wolfson serves as a Board Advisor for a blockchain-based supply chain management company. She also serves as a Board Observer for a number of other blockchain companies.

Wolfson has been recognized as an influential woman in the blockchain space. She was named one of the "top 5 women working to change the world of crypto" byThe Next Web .

As a writer, Wolfson has contributed toThe Huffington Post, , , , The Merkle*,* and Business2Community. She has written on Thrive Global, where she discusses fitness, health, and overall wellness.
