On May 30th, 2017, Quaylon's father allowed him to post a video on his Facebook

account about the recent bullying he's been receiving at Joan McQueen Middle School in the town of Alpine. He has recently moved there from another school where he never experienced the amount of racism and threats that he now experiences daily. [0]

In the video, Quaylon makes a sincere call to action regarding the bullying he

experiences everyday at the school saying that the teachers are good and the classes are good, but he says that there's one thing missing, friendship - he says:

"Friendship is like nowhere found at the school... the kids are always being racist and call me burnt marshmellow and threatening me to put in a chokehold and actually try to do it.

It's just a problem man... they are supposed to respect everybody who attends Alpine."

[0]

The video then ends after he says that the people are supposed to be welcoming to students not just people who are from there.

The video has since gotten news coverage.
