Proper No. Twelve is an Irish whisky brand founded by mixed martial arts champion Conor McGregor under his Eire Born Spirits company in November 2018. The name refers to the southwest area where McGregor hails, Dublin 12. This is a triple-distilled blended whiskey matured in former bourbon barrels. ^{[1] [3]}

McGregor collaborated with distiller David Elder, formerly of Guinness, to decide on the final blend selected from almost 100 blends. Nose: The aroma is light, slightly astringent, with honeysuckle and lime – more acidic than expected.^[9]

Palate: Initial flavor is very light both on flavor and on texture, with hints of spiced apples and pears.

Mid way through the alcohol starts to come through with texture across the mouth and a mild bitterness on flavor.

Finish is short lived with a slight tingling in the mouth being left behind long after the flavor has disappeared.
