Abayomi Adelaja Arigbabu is the Vice-Chancellor of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State. He is a Professor of Mathematics education,he was until his arrangement, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics (Second Class Upper) from the University of Lagos and Master of Science in Mathematics from same University. He later continued to the renowned University of South Africa, Pretoria for his Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics, Science and Technology with specialization in Mathematics Education.

He has been engaged with Mathematics, Science and Technology (MST) Education and arrangement programs in Nigeria in the last two decades.

Also, he was a visiting Professor in the Department of Science and Technology Education, University of Lagos between January 2014 and January 2015.

As a learned researcher and educationist second to none, he has been a co-advertiser/co-chief of Doctoral postulations of the University of South Africa (UNISA) since 2006, while he was likewise an External Examiner (of Doctoral propositions) to Rhodes University, Grahamstown and Tshwane University of Technology in South Africa and the University of Ibadan.

Prof. Arigbabu has a place with various scholastic and expert affiliations, these incorporate Mathematical Association of Nigeria (MAN), Science Teachers' Association of Nigeria (STAN), Nigerian Mathematical Society (NMS), Southern African Association for Researchers in Mathematics, Science and Technology Education (SAARMSTE) and the Science Association of Nigeria (SAN) among others.
