Priyanka Kapoor was an Indian model who lived to the tender age of 25 at which point she committed suicide after letting her family and the family of her husband know that she was beaten and mistreated. Her husband was Nitin Chawla, a wealthy businessman who she was only married to for 3 months. He was 10 years older than her at the time of their marriage. ^[undefined]

A suicide note was left on March 28th at her Delhi flat where her husband and police discovered her note explaining the pain she had dealt with from the mistreatment of her husband.

She explains that he forbade her from meeting with friends and family and marrying him was the worst mistake of her life.
