Priya Sengupta is an experienced founder with a demonstrated history of working in the consumer services industry. She is skilled in management, business development, analytics, business strategy, and Entrepreneurship.[1]
Education
Priya Sengupta started her career in Mathematics at St. Xavier's College, Kolkata where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Mathematic in 1992.[2] She proceeded to Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur where she obtained her Master's degree in 1994.[3] She holds a Master of Business Administration certificate from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow.[4]
Experience
Priya founded LifeVitae, Singapore in April 2018 and has been working there till date.[5] She took a part time job as the head of research at Savills Singapore in January 2019 where she was responsible for calling the future trends in the Singapore real estate market. She was a prolific column writer in various sections of the press as well as extensively interviewed guest lecturer at the real estate department at National University of Singapore.[6]
In June 2007, Priya picked up a lecturing job at Ngee Ann Polytechnic where she taught real estate finance, fund management and portfolio analysis, general management and building and operations management.[7]
She undertook many feasibility studies and redevelopment projects key to Singapore's metamorphosis into its current form.
The Sentosa redevelopment project, the Casino and theme park project, redevelopment of the major national parks including fort canning park and Singapore botanical gardens, are some of the projects that she led and was actively involved in at Knight Frank, Singapore from 2005 to 2007.[8]
She was the assistant manager, research and consulting at Colliers International, Singapore from 1998 to 2000. In September 2000, She became the associate director till she left in June 2003.[9]
