Prince Innocence
Origins
Talvi and Josh first met in high school around 2007.
Talvi was a party girl and Josh was into Wu tang, and the two had noticed each other at school. Years later, once they graduated, they were both living in Montreal. Talvi attended McGill University while Josh took part in a performance at the Pop Montréal festival with his solo project, Little Girls. They began to hangout and became inseparable - even after their break up. [8]
One day Josh asked Talvi to sing on one of his produced songs, and after some coercion and convincing, Talvi agreed, but Josh had to leave the room.
The results impressed Josh immensely, and they began collaborating since.

From their interview.
In 2013, they released their first EP titled, Lapse. The six songs on the EP were self-produced along with the art direction.
They have since released a number of singles along the way with music videos supplementing their artistic endeavors in the music scene.

From "Manic"
For almost a year the band was part of a management deal that resulted in a disaster that jeopardized their sound and artistic integrity.
They ended up making music that didn't sound like them, and would get unjustified criticism from the management for their live performances.
In the end, they chose to have full control of every aspect of their sound and artistic direction themselves.
They've had many offers from major record labels as well as small ones, and have rejected them in exchange for their self-producing efforts.
