Primavera De Filippi is a Researcher at the CNRS in Paris and faculty associate at the Berkman-Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard. ^[2]

Currently, Primavera is a Researcher at the CNRS in Paris and faculty associate at the Berkman-Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard, where she is investigating the concept of governance-by-design as it relates to blockchain technologies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc. ^[2]

Primavera is a Contributor for Internet Policy Review. ^[3]From 2011 to 2013, she was an Assistant Professor at Panthéon-Assas University. ^[3]

Prior to that, she served as a French & Italian correspondent in the areas of IP law and ICT law at Caselex S.a.r.l.

In 2009-2010, Primavera was a Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley and University at Buffalo. ^[3]

Primavera acts as a legal expert for Creative Commons in France and sits on the stakeholder board of the P2P Foundation. She is a member of the Global Future Council on Blockchain Technologies at the World Economic Forum, as well as the founder of the Internet Governance Forum’s dynamic coalitions on Blockchain Technology (COALA). ^[2]

Primavera's book, “Blockchain and the Law,” will be published in 2018 by Harvard University Press (with Aaron Wright). ^[4]

Primavera holds a PhD in Copyright Law from the European University Institute in Florence. ^[2]She also received Master's degree in Business & Administration from Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi. ^{[3] [5]}
