Alfredo Villa (better known as Prettyboyfredo, born on August 20, 1993) ^[2] is an American Twitch personality and YouTuber who is known for playing NBA 2K. ^{[31] [29]} He also uploads a mix of pranks, challenges, and vlogs. ^[14]

He has over 5.8 million subscribers on YouTube. ^[12]

Alfredo Villa grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. ^[16]

When he was 3 months old, he was given up by his parents.

His biological mother, Angela, was a drug addict and his father was an illegal immigrant from Costa Rica. ^[25] They were found by police who deemed the home unlivable due to the parents' neglect of the children. ^[27] Immediately, he and his siblings were placed in a group home. From there, his siblings split up and put in separate foster homes. ^[25]

He graduated Ridge Community High School in 2011. During those years, he played basketball and football. ^[18] It was during this time he earned the nickname Pretty Boy Fredo; girls used to call him "Pretty Boy." ^[18]

Subsequently, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Central Florida. ^{[16] [18]}

At 19 years old, when he was a sophomore in college, Fredo got arrested after he and his friend got caught stealing video games from an electronics store. ^[28] His friend told him about how someone who worked at the store could get him free games that he would not have to pay for. After a week of possessing the video games and not getting caught, he went in a second time and was asked to check if his receipt matched with the items he had in his bag. When confronted by a security guard, Fredo took off. The police eventually knocked on his door, as they had a warrant for his arrest. ^[28]

He was in jail for about 5 to 6 hours.

As a result of this experience, he decided to start posting videos on YouTube in an effort to become successful and make his adoptive parents proud. ^[28]

In June 2009, Prettyboyfredo created his YouTube channel. ^[12] He uploaded his first video in October 2014, reviewing NBA 2K15 on Xbox. ^[17]

Since then, he has posted hundreds of videos and has expanded his reach by creating various types of content; this includes prank videos, challenges, and vlogs.

^[2] Some of his most popular videos are his prank videos, including his "Angry Girlfriend Throws PS4 in the Pool" prank ^[10] and a "Marriage Proposal Gone Wrong" video (where he proposes to his girlfriend Jasmine at the mall in an attempt to see how many people would laugh at his failed proposal). ^[19]

In 2015, he posted his first video not giving commentary to NBA 2K gameplay and, instead, told the story of him being involved in a threesome that went horribly wrong.

On August 13, 2016, Fredo reached 1 million subscribers.

^[23] To celebrate, in October 2016, he got a tattoo on his left latissimus dorsi of his NBA 2K avatar and the phrase "Clamp God" underneath it. ^[22]

After gaining fame from his NBA 2K videos, PrettyBoyFredo and his girlfriend Jasmine began pranking each other and posting videos of them onto his channel.

In February 2020, Prettyboyfredo went on Instagram to share a story of how he was arrested while giving a limited edition set of Nike Mag sneakers, valued at around $30,000, to a teen named Jay who was bullied in school.^[58]

Prettyboydredo has been mentoring Jay for some time.

After hearing that Jay was being bullied over his size and clothing at school, Villa decided to plan a surprise.

He purchased a pair of Nike Mag sneakers and headed over to Jay's school. When he got there, security assumed he was trespassing and detained him. Once police learned of the good-natured intent behind Villa's accidental trespassing, he was released.^[59]

Pretty Boy Fredo had a girlfriend named Jasmine; they have been dating since 2013.

On November 11, 2017, Jasmine and Alfredo's daughter Ava was born.

Alfredo would later propose on October 21, 2018, but the couple eventually broke up in mid 2019.^[2] In October 2019, Alfredo posted a 43 min long video called "Jasmine side of the breakup, Exposing The Truth About Our Relationship..."

The video gained almost 2 million views in a day.^[57]

He also has a dog named A.J. ^[19]
