Piyali Munsi (born August 30) is an Indian Actress who appears predominantly in Hindi and Bengali TV Series and Films. She is best known for Khamiyaza (2019), Ganga (2017), Checkmate (2012). ^[1]

Piyali was born and brought up in Santoshpur, Kolkata, India. She completed schooling from Bhudeb Smriti Vidyapeeth, Kolkata. She studied at the Hazra Law College and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree. ^[2]

Piyali started her career in 2008.

She made a debut in the Bengali film 'Rangeen Gudhooli'. She then appeared in Crime and Drama series, Checkmate in 2012. She gained attention for her performance and it started her Television journey. She made her Hindi TV series debut in "Jai Jag Janani Maa Durga (TV Series)" in the same year. Since then, She has been regular face on Hindi TV Channels and has acted in many popular TV series including Prithvi Vallabh - Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi, Jhansi Ki Rani (2019 TV series), Bandhan ( 2014), Santoshi Maa (2015) Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar (2016), Siya Ke Ram (2016), Laal Ishq (2018), RadhaKrishn (2018), Tenali Rama (2018)^[16], Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush (2019), Ganga (2017 TV series), Dil Jaise Dhadke... Dhadakne Do (2020) and many others. She has also worked in Bangali movies and TV series simultaneously, which includies Magno Mainak (2009) and Kagojer Nouka (2013). She also appeared in India's First 3D short Film, "Arasuri Maa Ambe" in 2013 which had narration of famous Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan.^[2][14]
