Education
In 2010, Vannineuse graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Entrepreneurship and Management L. Koźmiński University in Warsaw, Poland. Vannineuse later moved to France in order to gain his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Business from the NEOMA Business School in 2012. He stayed at NEOMA Business School, graduating as Valedictorian in 2013 with a postgraduate Specialized Master (MS) in International Finance with a major in Advanced Econometrics. Vannineuse was recognized with an award for the best postgraduate finance thesis in 2014 for his thesis, "M&A and Value Creation: The Example of Renewable Energy Sources." Career
Pierre Vannineuse is the Founder and CEO of Alpha Blue Ocean, an international alternative investment firm with offices in London, Geneva and Victoria. He leads the investment strategy and represents the company on all fronts. Under Vannineuse's leadership, Alpha Blue Ocean has invested 1.24 billion euros through international transactions in the 14 months since inception. [3] [1] [1]
Vannineuse created an innovative financing philosophy which aims at switching from direct market risk toward model risk while guaranteeing the adequate financing of a given company. [1]
Vannineuse is also the Sole Administrator of European High Growth Opportunities MANCO SA which manages the European High Growth Opportunities Securitization Fund (Fund: B 124.207) in Luxembourg. The fund is solely owned and has fully delegated advisory and management to Blue Ocean Advisors. [0]
Since the beginning of his career, Vannineuse has actively implemented billions of dollars in direct and optional commitments for international businesses and projects whether public or private.
Before the creation of the Blue Ocean Investment Group, Vannineuse was the Founder and CEO of the Bracknor Investment Group, a family office based in Dubai. Under his leadership the firm deployed 400 million euros through international and cross-border transactions over 2 years. [1]
Previously, Vannineuse worked as an Investment Professional in a small alternative investment boutique based in London.
He was involved in all transactional aspects from origination and structuring to the monitoring of transactions once executed. [1]
Prior to this, Vannineuse worked as a Financial Advisor for Mergers and Acquisitions within ENGI (ex-GDF SUEZ) in Paris during which time he structured and closed over 12 wind project finance deals, and participated in legal tenders for energy production assets and impairment tests effectively processing over 1 billion euros of transactions on both the buy and sell side. Early on in his career, Vannineuse worked as a Private Consultant at Diamond Advisory, and a Internal Audit & Process Optimization Intern at Total Petrochemicals. He also worked as a Process Optimization Consultant at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Fécamp Bolbec and a Events Management Intern at Feedback. [0]
