Pi Network (Launched March 19th, 2019) is described as the most inclusive and the first mobile cryptocurrency in the modern world. Pi is a new digital currency with an application that allows its users to access and grow their Pi holdings and serves as a wallet to host a user's digital assets. Pi is fairly distributed, eco-friendly, and consumes minimal battery power.

Pi Network is a Financial service-oriented organization founded in 2018 and has issued a Cryptocurrency, the network's native token for everyday people fueling the world’s most inclusive peer-to-peer economy. Being a Computer Software ecosystem, and located in Palo Alto, California, Pi Network aims to make its platform fairly distributed, eco-friendly, and such which consumes minimal battery power as it introduces its mining function.

The Company, Pi Network, is led by a team of industrious men and women who also have taken interest in the fields of digital currency, Blockchain, Mobile Application, Software, Decentralized application (DApp), and Open Economy. Pi has between 2-10 employees and about 100 on Linkedin.
Led by its head of technology, Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis, Pi is in pursuance of establishing a sustainable crypto-blockchain ecosystem, by making crypto mining easy and useable by all and sundry.

History
Pi Network was started by Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis – Head of Technology Dr. Chengdiao Fan – Head of Product, Vincent McPhillip – Head of Community
Vince McPhillip is the face and voice of The Pi Core Team.
Within the Pi Network App Vince will engage with the Pi community in the Pioneer Chat several times a week to help answer a few questions others may have regarding Pi.
Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis is the computer programmer for Pi.
He is most likely leading the development of the blockchain technology necessary to operate the network for Pi and it’s marketplace.
This is currently not open sourced, and many people are still waiting for it to be available.
He usually helps by answering questions in the Developer Chat within the Pi Network app.
Dr. Chengdiao Fan rarely communicates within the English chat for Pi.
However, she is working heavily in the Asian Pi community.
