Phillip "Phizzurp" Klemenov
Phillip "Phizzurp" Klemenov (b.
August 14, 1993) was a professional Call of Duty player and a popular video game streamer.
At the time of his death he had over 60,000 subscribers on YouTube and over 50,000 followers on Twitch.tv and Twitter.
Gaming Career
Phizzurp played for the Call of Duty team H2K Gaming.
The first game Phizzurp started playing competitively was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 days, on the Playstation 3.
Phizzurp, mainly creating one-event teams consisting of different professional players when he first started playing competitively.
In 2011 Phizzurp joined the gaming brand FeaR before MLG Anaheim in 2011.
The team performed well at MLG Anaheim '11 and nearly won the Call of Duty finals, ending up with a 2nd place finish.
With MLG Raleigh '11 coming up, the team managed to end up with a 1st place finish, which showed that the pick-up of Phizzurp really paid off.
Phizzurp then joined Quantic, where he played together with NameLeSs, Lyar and TwiZz at the Call of Duty Championship 2013 placing outside Top 8.
After the Call of Duty Championship 2013, the team decided to part ways with PHiZZURP due to their disappointing placement at Call of Duty Championship.
After a short time of success with UNiTE at MLG Spring Championship, MRKN and VanQuish, winning UMG Dallas '13, PHiZZURP played for Denial with Complex, Flawless and John.
Since June 26, 2014, PHiZZURP played for MRKNWILD.
His favorite moment in his COD career was when he won UMG Dallas in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
Phizzurp played from losers bracket, had to play the champions twice and beat them twice to win.
Death
On October 2, 2016 Phizzurp died after a car crash in Aurora, Colorado.
Phizzurp crashed and flipped his car before it hit a pole and ran through three trees.
At the time of the crash Phizzurp was driving with his girlfriend, Adrianna Lemus, and unnamed passenger.
Phizzurp died fifteen minutes after the crash at a local hospital.
The unnamed passenger died at the scene of the crash.
Phizzurp's girlfriend survived the crash with non-life threatening injuries.
Alcohol and speed are the preliminary factors in the crash.
The crash happened in the 9900 Block of East Florida Avenue just after 2:30 a.m. [1]
Police released the following statment:
βThe preliminary investigation shows a black Infinity was eastbound on Florida when it lost control and rolled several times ending up on the sidewalk to the north of East Florida Avenue.
The car hit several trees and a light pole in the process.
An adult male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene."
