Flood incident
On Saturday, April 29th, 2017, as Phillip was driving back home after choosing to leave the home due to floods with Addy and Marshal in the backseat, he found himself unable to gain control of the vehicle and hydroplaned off the road.
The car eventually flipped, causing for Addy and Marshal to be trapped in the back.
Phillip himself was also trapped and unable to reach back and save his kids.
Ultimately, good samaritans nearby caught up with the vehicle and were able to save the kids after much struggle.
A man with a red cap was able to reach inside and get a hold of Marshal and was able to pull him out.
Rescuers standing by took Marshal from the man with the red cap, and after a struggle to revive him, the little infant boy was able to regain his breath.
The National Weather Service found evidence of four tornadoes with one twister possibly on the ground for 50 miles (80 kilometers) throughout the state of Texas.
A YouCaring account has been started to help the family pay the medical costs of Addy's and his son Marshall's recovery. [undefined]
