Philip Patrick Policarpio

Philip Patrick Policarpio is 39 year old career criminal who was on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list [1]. He was a fugitive who most recently lived in Los Angeles, California [1].

On May 30, 2016 he was captured by the FBI near the United States-Mexico border.

Crimes

Policarpio was added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list for shooting his pregnant girlfriend Lauren Olguin in the head at a home in East Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. The FBI are offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to Policarpio's arrest. Both Lauren and her unborn child were killed in shooting. [1]

On April 12, 2016 Policarpio during a gathering with friends in the 500 block of N. Virgil Avenue in the East Hollywood, Los Angeles area. Policarpio got into an argument with his girlfriend who was 17 weeks pregnant at the time. He beat her with his fists, then pulled a gun and shot her in the head, killing her instantly. It was "in front of everyone," according to Special Agent Scott Garriola, a member of the FBI's Los Angeles Fugitives Task Force.

Policarpio is considered armed and extremely dangerous, according to the FBI. He was paroled in May 2015 after serving time for a 2001 assault with a firearm conviction. His 14-year sentence came from a 2000 crime in Burbank, CA where he fired nine shots into a vehicle during a dispute.

Policarpio may have traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada where he has family or the Philippines, where he has family and was arrested in connection with the 2000 case.

Policarpio is known to use and sell illegal drugs and could be earning money by credit card or vehicle identification number fraud, according to the FBI, which say Policarpio may be in possession of multiple weapons as well as foreign travel documents in multiple names.

Description

Policarpio is Filipino, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 to 165 pounds.

He has tattoos on his chest, including one that reads “Only God Can Judge Me,” and on his back, both arms and left thigh.

He has moles on his right nostril, near his left nostril and below his right lip, and a scar near his left eye.

He has black hair and brown eyes.

He may wear glasses and his head may be shaved, according to the FBI.

He goes by the aliases Damon Hiromi Tanaka, Damon Hiromi Tanak, Damon Tanaka, Philip Policardio, Paul Policarpio, Phillip Policarpio, Bugsy, Sinister and Sins.

Anyone with information about Policarpio was asked to contact their local FBI office, the nearest U.S.
