Phelon Davis is a former bank teller from District Heights, Maryland. ^[1]

A 29-year-old Wells Fargo bank teller stole more than $185,000 from a homeless customer's account. ^[1] Davis encountered the man in in October 2014 as he tried to deposit a garbage bag full of cash into the already well funded account. ^[1] Davis used a scheme involving creating a new account under the unidentified man's name that he had control over and transferred the money over time to pay for his own expenses. ^[1] He was charged on July 19th and subsequently plead guilty and is currently awaiting sentencing for one federal felony count of interstate transportation of stolen property. ^[1]
