Peter Roome Fritsch is a journalist, author and business executive. He is one of the co-founders of Fusion GPS, a corporate espionage firm. He is also a former Senior Editor and former Bureau Chief of the Wall Street Journal. ^{[1] [2]}

Fritsch spent 15 years at The Wall Street Journal, serving as bureau chief in Mexico, Brazil, South and Southeast Asia and Northern Europe. His last post was Washington, D.C. bureau's national security editor. ^[1]

On November 26, 2019, Fritsch and Glenn R. Simpson's book Crime in Progress: Inside the Steele Dossier and the Fusion GPS Investigation of Donald Trump was published. ^[10]

Fritsch received his Bachelor's degree from Vassar College in 1986. He then earned his Master's degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism in 1989. ^[1]

Peter is the son of Theodore P. Fritsch, a reverend in North Chatham, Massachusetts. ^[3]
