Payton Elizabeth Young was a student attending Bishop Watterson High School (Columbus, Ohio). [1]
Personal Life
She was a junior at BWHS.
[1] At the time of her death, Young had suffered from depression.
Disappearance & Death
Young was reported missing by her family on January 21, 2018 at approximately 7:30 p.m. local time.
Her body was found in the Scioto River, just east of Hayden Run Falls Park on Monday February 19, 2018. She was pronounced dead at 1:28 p.m. local time.
Young's car was also found in a parking lot near the falls.
The cause of death has yet to be released by the coroner's office.
