Pavel Bains is an entrepreneur and Blockchain enthusiast based in Vancouver. ^[1] He is currently the CEO of Bluzelle Networks which builds Blockchain and distributed ledger solutions for the finance industry.

Bains is a graduate of the Richmond Secondary School. ^[1] He studied political science at UCLA and finance at Simon Fraser University. ^[1]

Early in his career, Bains was a Financial Analyst for Spectra Restaurants and a Financial Operations Consultant for Disney Interactive Studios. He was later the Studio Director of the video game studio Threewave Software, an Entrepreneur in Residence at Centre for Digital Media, and founded and became CEO of Storypanda. He has been the Principal at M2SIX Ventures, a futurist strategic advisory and consulting firm since 2004. In addition, he is a part of 500 Startups.

In September 2015, Bains became the CEO of Bluzelle Networks which helps companies around the world with blockchain solutions.

He has worked with banks, Forex firms, mobile wallets and mobile operators.

In his free time, Bains likes to learn about astrophysics. He has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. Bains resides in Vancouver with his wife Kavita and three children. ^[1]
