Pauline Chiou is an American journalist based in New York, New York. She is a freelance presenter and correspondent for CNN International news and business programs. ^[1]

Pauline Chiou received a Bachelor's degree in history and a Master's degree in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

She joined CNBC in 2014 from CNN in Hong Kong, China where she covered Asia business news since 2009 and anchored World Business Today. Prior to that, she was based in the U.S. where she covered markets from the New York Stock Exchange.
