Paula Nelson is a bestselling Author, Media personality, Opportunity thought-leader, expert in Funding, Innovation and Economic development, who has been called "one of the brightest people in the money world". [1]

She is known to millions around the globe from her financial commentaries on CNN Business News and the Today Show. Her books have sold more than 2 million copies and have been published in more than ten languages.

Career

Before the age of 30, she co-founded three electronics equipment companies -- and took one public; penned The Joy of Money, the first of her books on success, strategy and opportunity in the 21st century. The Joy of Money (Bantam) was a run away bestseller offered by eight book clubs including Book of the Month Club.

She became the first woman deliverying regular reports on money, finance and business on NBC's Today Show alongside Jane Pauley and Tom Brokaw.

Squired away by Westinghouse she joined Hour Magazine and PM Magazine. Finally serving as co-anchor and finanical correspondent for CNN Business News where she worked with Lou Dobbs, Stuart Varney and Bill Hartley.

Her fifth book, Soar with Your Strenghts, co-created and authored with Donald O. Clifton, launched the Strengths movement around the globe and was followed by five follow-on New York Times Bestsellers.

Her clients include IBM, AT&T, American Express, Royal Bank of Canada, Nordstrom, Ford's, Merrill Lynch, Dartmouth ns, Indiana University, UCLA., as well as the Government of Peru.
