Patrick Zamarripa was a police officer from Dallas, Texas. Zamarripa was an Iraq war veteran with a young family who passionately expressed love for his country in writings.
He served three tours in Iraq,was in the Navy and served as a military police officer in Iraq.
Death
On July 7, 2016 Zamarripa was one 5 police officers ambushed by Micah Johnson during the 2016 Dallas Police Protest Shooting.
