Patricia Parkinson (born August 28) is a Maltese-Canadian polymath, creative director, keynote speaker, and futurist.

Patricia is the co-founder of Chestnut, Blockchain Babes, BlockCollab, Hungry, and Get Frank Feedback. She previously held the role of Creative Director for Concep Global, Karrikins Group (formerly Change Labs),^[16] and Funke Labs. ^{[22] [23] [24]}

Patricia Parkinson was raised in Whitby, Ontario. She lived in Toronto from 2006 to 2009.

Patricia lived in Sydney, Australia between 2010 to 2014. She has been a digital nomad since 2014. She spends most of her time in Bali (Indonesia), Chiang Mai (Thailand), Toronto (Canada) and San Francisco (United States).

In 2019, Parkinson became a Maltese citizen.

Patricia's career started with a journalism internship at Rogers TV in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada in January 2004. The internship was based on a multi-disciplinary rotation through roles in the production studio including writing, reporting on air live, camera operation, and editing.

In 2006, Patricia led customer experience for Tiens Group in Toronto.

In 2007 to 2008, Patricia was part of the founding team of Dex.TV, one of the first online financial news stations.

In 2009, Patricia joined Brookshire Media, as senior designer and producer.

In 2010 to 2011, Patricia joined Concep Global as Creative Manager - Digital and Interactive, working with clients that included Google, CommInsure, Westpac, Goldman Sachs, Ernst & Young, Google, NAB, Colonial First State, MLC, Bankwest, JBWere, and Johnson & Johnson.

Between 2012 and 2013, Patricia's team at Change Labs developed the world's largest financial literacy program for Commonwealth Bank Foundation including the virtual workshop resource suite. The program, Start Smart ^[1] reaches 500,000 students every year. Other programs developed included:

In 2015, Patricia was the co-founder and CCO of Reidefine Media. The company developed an entertainment ecommerce technology platform and marketing playbook for Pegasus Media Group which led to a $100m partnership ^[17] with Netflix, China Film Group Corporation, and Creative Artists Agency.

In November 2016, Patricia led the Plan of Attack team at Techstars Startup Weekend Bali and won second place. ^[7]

In December 2017, Patricia co-founded SteemSmarter, an analytics engine and platform on Steem. ^[4]

In February 2018, Patricia co-founded Blockchain Babes, a movement to empower women in blockchain.

In September 2018, Patricia competed in EOS Hackathon in London, England. The project her team built, Chestnut, won second prize and Best User Experience ^[3].

In October 2018, Patricia co-founded BlockCollab, a blockchain collaboratory.

In December 2018, Chestnut competed in the EOS Global Hackathon Finale in Cape Town, South Africa.
