Pastor Ken Johnson is and advisor to Stevie Baggs Jr. on the show Match Made in Heaven (Season 2), who will help Stevie find love with one of the contestants. [1]
Was born into poverty in Los Angeles, California and grew up in inner city Dallas, Texas. Ken and his family moved over 18 times before graduating high school. [1]
Blue chip success on the football field helped Ken earn a scholarship to play for the The University of Tulsa in 1979.
In 1984, Ken earned a Bachelor of Science. in education, but a knee injury prevented him from pursuing his dream of becoming a pro-football player. So, Ken chose to serve his country in the military and serve as a police officer in Tulsa, Oklahoma for 6 years, much of it in the inner city. [1]
After leaving the police department in Tulsa, Ken moved to Indianapolis, Indiana to work for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Soon after that, he became the Protestant Chaplain of the Indianapolis Colts, a position he still holds today. Ken also works a motivational speaker. [1]
In 1983, Ken married his wife Della Johnson.
They live in Indianapolis and have three adult children: Dominick, Kendall and Kristina.
