Pasionaye Nguyen (born 1971) is an American celebrity mother of the famous American rapper Tyga (Michael Ray Stevenson).^[1][2]

She was born in 1973, in Vietnam. She is an Afro-Asian and of Vietnamese descendant and also hold an American nationality. Her mother is Kim Nguyen and she also has a younger sister Cece Nguyen. She once said her mother Kim does not speak English very well. ^[3]

She is an author and also had an interest in music as a songwriter.

Although none of her work in music and literature have found fame in the industry

She was married to Tyga father Michael Stevenson but she was separated from him because of his bad reputation and criminal charges. Her father is of Afro Jamaican descent and they lived in the city of Compton, California.

Her husband lived a very rough life and had the bad reputation in Compton. He had several charges and spend most time behind bars and didn’t give his time to his family. In March 1991, Pasionaye husband Stevenson got the life sentence, and she became a single mom to Tyga.

She gave birth to her only son Michael Ray Stevenson (Tyga) when she was 16 years on 19th November 1989 and raised him alone.

There was also a rumor that she remarried Tupac Shakur who act as a fatherly figure for Tyga and he also supported Tyga to enter into the music industry.

From Tyga's early age he loved to listen to Eminem, Fabolous, Cam'ron, Lil Wayne, and so on. He is also an Emmy award winner for his song “Deuces”, which he performed with Chris Brown and Kevin McCall in 2010.

the age of 18, her son had gained fame because of his passion for music. His

debut mixtape “Young on Probation” was massive enough to get him signed on to Young Money Entertainment.

In 2014, Kimmel invited her to his show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”. Kimmel requested her to feature on his “Words From Your Mother” series where she was asked to perform the lines from the son’s song. However, she was not disappointed as she boldly read the lyrics to Tyga’s Rack City.

She has always been supportive of her son career as she motivated him to to pursue a career in music

She enjoys a lot of benefit from her son as Tyga respects and loves her very much because of her sacrifice. He showers her with expensive gifts too. He once bought her a Range Rover Evoque which trades for over $41,000.

She currently lives with her son Tyga.
