Currently Based at HDFC securities as a Business Head, Mr Paresh heads the Retail & Wealth Business compromising of Branches, NRI, HNI, IPO & other business lines.
Prior to HDFC Sec, he had a short stint at Principal PnB financial planners as Head Distribution for distribution of Life & Non life insurance and Mutual funds with a mandate to set up sales through a direct sales team and 7000 branches of Punjab National Bank, Vijaya Bank & Indian Bank.
Principal PnB financial Planners Pvt Ltd is a member of the Principal Financial Group- a fortune 200 company with 4 group companies in India.
Prior to Principal, Mr Paresh was with IDBI Bank heading the country for Sales, Distribution & Customer Value Management Product Program for 5 years.
At IDBI, within his Sales Profile - he managed sales for Personal Banking, Business Banking, NRI products, Wealth Management, Trade finance, Loan Against Shares, IPO, IPO funding, Life insurance, Non life Insurance, Mutual Funds & some other products (With a team of appx 5500 people across the country) and within his Product Profile (Customer Value Management) - the key responsibility was to retain and deepen relationships with the 5.5 million plus existing customers.
A team of 1000 Relationship managers & 500 dedicated Tele-Marketers backed this product program- Additionally, he took care of "Below-the -Line" Marketing and E- learning initiatives of the Bank.
He represented the Bank in Business process re-engineering committee and Retail risk committee on Outsourcing.
His past experience includes Product Mgmt, Sales & Marketing for mortgages, loans (secured & unsecured) & Credit cards.
He also has deep experience in Branch Banking & core operations.
His exposure also includes 3 years of entrepreneurial experience along with being on the steering committee of IDBI Fortis Life Insurance-mandate to incorporate & start business [0]
