Pamela Day is an Investor based in Los Angeles, California. [1] She is the Founder and Managing Partner of Crimson Holdings and specializes in the real estate field. Since 1999, Day has raised close to $150 MM in private equity funds for her ventures.
Education
Pamela Day attended the University of Pennsylvania where she earned a BA in Economics. She would her attain her MBA from Harvard Business School in 1997.
Career
Early in her career, Day was a Sr. Associate at BankBoston Robertson Stephens, an Associate Tenant Representative at Jones Land LaSalle, and the Vice president of Corporate Finance at AllAdvantage.com. During this time, she performed valuation and underwriting work for REITs and homebuilders during the REIT boom. While working at BankBoston, she specialized in valuation work for private REIT portfolio acquisitions, and at UBS PaineWebber, she valued and took public some of the largest REITs in existence today.
Day founded and served as CEO and Chairman of Blazent Corp, an enterprise software company which recieved investments from funds such as Benchmark Capital and Bain Capital. During her tenure as CEO, Day was awarded the Trailblazer Award by the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs. In 2004, Day was a contestant on The Apprentice.
In 2002, Day founded and became Managing Partner of Crimson Holdings and specialized in real estate investment and development.
During her tenure, Crimson has successfully raised four over-subscribed, closed-end funds that have allowed small private investors to participate in private real estate investments.
More recently, Crimson has partnered with joint-venture equity providers and family offices.
Day is a Managing Partner at the Venice Crypto Fund.
In 2018, Day became a Founding team member of the EOS Block Producer shEOS.
