Allegations

Pa Yang and two other Minnesota women, Mai Vue Vang and True Thao were each arrested and charged with one felony count of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance.

The women were caught Tuesday at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois while carrying 31.5 kg of heroin and opium valued at $3.5 million which was concealed in bags of tea leaves.

The women passed through customs, claimed their bags and were pulled aside for additional screening, said public affairs officer Kris Grogan.

On May 11, 2016 a judge set the bail for all three women at $50,000.
